This report of the death of my great-grandfather's brother William Gatlin was published in the Daily Illini, the student newspaper of the University of Illinois. I would not have expected his death to be reported in a student newspaper.
I try to do quite a bit of newspaper research and have never ran across a student newspaper. That's really interesting that the story was in their paper! Great find!
